Becoming
a mixed media artist is not something that I dreamt about,
it is something that I stumbled upon and happen to love!
I realized my passion for creating inspirational art when
I fell in love with combining paint, colored pencils, oil
pastels, ink, stamps, paper and glue - creating a multi-layered
mosaic on canvas. The more I add, the better I like it!
Recently I started to play around with adding lots of water
to my paint and just making one big artful mess!
I
start with a word or a phrase...an expression that touches
both the heart and soul...and create art based on the phrase.
I
believe art should speak to us. Art should assist in revealing
who we are, what we like and what we wish to become.
Oh...one more thing, since I am a wife to one and mother of four
little girls, my life revolves around constant chaos - is life
suppose to be any other way?!? It is through my own chaos, the
love from my family and friends and the experiences that I encounter
on a daily basis that drive my creativity. I feel it is important
that we all be reminded to live artfully, be thankful for who
we are and what we have, to be inspired on a daily basis and to
express ourselves through creativity. My goal is to make both
art and happiness a habit!
I
truly love creating custom works of art. These pieces bring joy
to so many. Whether your loved one is a musician, a comic book
lover...or someone who simply inspires you, creating a special,
one-of-a-kind work of art for them is truly a unique gift!
Getting
started includes sending a small selection of photos to me (if
you wish to include them in the artwork), as well as telling me
a little bit about the person that you want the artwork created
for. I can take if from there.
I
also create custom family trees as well as memorial art to help
celebrate loved ones that have passed.

kids or about any upcoming mixed media nights, please contact
